Manufacturer responsibility
The manufacturer is responsible for the accuracy of the IVI XML, the right to use the selected certificate and the authority permissions required for EU NAP or UK submission routes.
Terms of use
SignECOC is an IVI XML validation, signing and supported eCoC submission service for vehicle manufacturers. It is not an eCoC creation platform, type approval consultancy or certificate authority.
Signing methods
Users may sign with SignECOC’s Local Signer app or with a temporary encrypted PFX/P12 signing session. Private keys, token PINs and certificate passwords must remain under the manufacturer’s control.
Credits
One paid credit covers IVI XML signing and one supported EU NAP or UK submission attempt. New accounts start with no credits.
Submission status
SignECOC shows submission status based on platform processing and authority responses. Official acceptance is shown only when an actual authority response explicitly confirms it. Receipt for processing is not final acceptance.
Service boundaries
The platform validates, signs, submits and tracks eCoC XML data. It does not replace legal, regulatory or type approval decisions made by competent authorities.
